What is it?
The Skin Care Center is excited to offer our patients a portfolio of laser treatments made available with the Sciton® laser. These treatments are considered to be advanced cosmetic procedures that utilize the laser technology to improve various skin conditions and enhance overall skin appearance. The Sciton laser can treat issues such as wrinkles, fine lines, scars, pigmentation, vascular lesions and skin laxity.

What to expect
There will be an initial consultation to assess your skin type and concerns, allowing our medical provider to recommend the most suitable treatment option and laser type for you. During treatment, the laser device is applied to the targeted areas, which may cause sensations ranging from mild warmth to slight stinging, depending on the treatment type. After treatment, there can be mild redness and swelling in the treated areas, similar to a sunburn, which typically subsides within a few hours to a few days.
Skin improvements may take several weeks to fully develop as the skin heals and regenerates. Multiple sessions are encouraged for best results. With proper care and maintenance, results can be long-lasting, enhancing skin texture, tone and overall appearance!
