What Can Narrow Band Treat?

Narrow band treatments are primarily used for psoriasis. However, the procedure can also benefit patients with eczema or vitiligo.

How do Narrow Band Treatments Work?

Narrow band phototherapy is a prescription treatment that exposes the skin to ultraviolet light. This light slows the growth of the affected skin cells, making the condition less obvious and eventually go away. Treatments are customized to your needs but are usually done 3-5 times per week for maximum efficacy.

Results and Recovery*

Initial results can typically be seen after 2-5 narrow band treatments. Side effects are minimal, and there’s no need for any downtime afterward. Narrow band is safer than traditional UVB phototherapy but may require more sessions to achieve an optimal outcome. Long-term remission is possible with narrow band phototherapy.
