How Does It Work?
FotoFacial™ works by using IPL (intense pulsed light) which sends light and heat energy into your skin. The Skin Care Center uses the INMode Lumecca device for non-invasive IPL treatment. The process rejuvenates the deep layers of the dermis and helps reduce the appearance of blemishes. The energy emitted also promotes collagen growth which is a key factor in minimizing wrinkles and fine lines, helping you achieve more youthful-looking skin.
Am I A Good Candidate?
If you are looking to improve your skin’s overall appearance without surgery, FotoFacial™ is a non-invasive option you may want to consider. The ideal candidate for FotoFacial™ is an otherwise healthy adult who is bothered by mild to moderate signs of aging, sun damage, and rosacea. Must be free of sunless tanner and sun exposure for 2 weeks prior to treatment.
How Long Does A Typical Treatment Take?
Each FotoFacial™ session takes approximately 30-minutes making it easy to fit into a morning or afternoon schedule. A topical cooling gel is used to minimize discomfort throughout the procedure.
What Results Will I See?*
You can expect to see a reduction in fine lines and wrinkles due to enhanced collagen stimulation. Optimal results will become noticeable several weeks post-procedure. Skin will appear plumper and smoother, while bothersome bumps and blemishes gradually fade away. You may need up to 5-6 sessions to achieve your desired results. Maintenance treatments are safe and effective on an annual basis or as needed.
Is There Any Downtime?
This procedure has no downtime, so you can return to work and normal activities right away, making it an optimal skin care solution for those with busy lifestyles. Immediately after treatment, your skin may appear red or flushed, capillaries may be more visible than usual and brown spots may appear darker. This is only temporary, and most of these will fade after a few days.
