About Your Provider
Dr. Julie S. Goldberg is a board-certified dermatologist and dermasurgeon. She was born and raised in Chicago’s north suburbs, and received her undergraduate degree from The University of Texas at Austin. She then went on to earn her medical doctorate degree at University of Health Sciences/The Chicago Medical School. Dr. Goldberg completed her internship in internal medicine at Rush Presbyterian St. Lukes Medical Center in Chicago, and her residency in dermatology at University of Illinois Medical Center at Chicago. She has also completed a clinical research fellowship in laser science at Harvard Medical School/Wellman Laboratories of Photomedicine in Boston, Massachusetts.
Bringing over 17 years of experience practicing dermatology on the North Shore, Dr. Goldberg has established a distinguished clinical reputation as medical director of Dermedica® Innovative Dermatology. Her renowned expertise encompasses general dermatology, dermatologic surgery, skin cancer screenings, laser and radiofrequency treatments, and use of injectable fillers and neurotoxins for cosmetic enhancement. Dr. Goldberg has a special interest and a strong passion for educating her patients on skin cancer prevention and protection from the sun.
Dr. Julie Goldberg is affiliated with NorthShore University HealthSystem Hospitals, Advocate Lutheran General Hospital, and Northwestern Lake Forest Hospital. She is a member of the Chicago Dermatology Society, the American Academy of Dermatology, the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery, the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery and the Women's Dermatologic Society.
Outside of the practice, Dr. Goldberg is a proud alto vocalist in the Buffalo Grove Singers, enjoys Pilates and being a mom.
